Happy Thanksgiving
I know I am thankful for lots of things in my life, but this year I am especially thankful for my 3rd and 4th grade class. I am blessed each school day with this wonderful class. To celebrate Thanksgiving we read the Thanksgiving story, each told of something we are thankful for, and eat some pumpkin pie.

What 3rd-4th Grade Are Thankful For:

Aly: My family
Drew: My grandparents
Hannah: My parents
Roman: My family
Oliva 3rd: My baby cousin Dillon
Moriah: My brother
Chloe: My parents
Madison: My sisiter and my dog
Serena: My family and friends
Oliva 4th: My friends
Jordan: My teacher
Congratulations on Warm Fuzzy Party

After 3 months of hard work I would like to congratulate my 3rd and 4th graders for earning their first warm fuzzy party". The theme for our party was "Game Day". We had all kinds of games board game, portable games, and WI we hooked up to the TV. I would like to thank Olivia Smith 4th grades mom for bringing in the WI and hooking it up for us, and Moriah's mom for donating some drinks for the day. Enjoy some of the pictures of our day of games. My favorite is the video of our Jordan playing WI Cheer. It was his idea that I post it on the website. You might need to pause the music player at the bottom the screen to hear video.

Operation Christmas Child

For the second year in a row BCA took part in the "Operation Christmas Child" charity. We spend weeks collecting, organizing, and wrapping up our shoe boxes to send across the world to needy children. Our school collected over 80 boxes for this great cause. The following are pictures of our class decorating the shoe boxes for all the donations.

Learning Fractions
The other day we had a lesson on learning fractions. We used different colored sour gummy worms to separate into groups of fractions for each color. As you can see they had a blast learning all the while. The only negative was the sugar rushes during the rest of math class.

Pumpkin Prayer and Fall Cookie Decorating
We had a wonderful fall celebration day last Thursday. We started with our pumkin carving project "The Pumpkin Prayer" and ended with a really cute cookie decorating project and snack. I would like to thank all mt parents and grandparents that came out to help with the projects and Mrs Summer's who brought in and donated all the cookie decorating supplies. Enjoy the slideshow in the above post of our fun filled fall day.
